While I applaud shining a light on the lawlessness and cruelty of ICE, I think it's important to avoid misstatements that could detract from the credibility of the message. The image shown with the lyrics "and some maids" is actually of ICE grabbing Tufts University student Rumeysa Ozturk off the street (not a maid).
You based this ad on a song that, while popular once upon a time, most people under 60 aren't going to know. Your previous ad was based on a character from The Godfather, another popular cultural artifact -- again, from decades ago. Seems to me there are much stronger and more direct ways to attack this administration.
Video was pulled when I saw this. I do absolutely support showing videos of exactly what the masked armed thugs are doing to people. Also, show where they are putting the people that they lock up. I read it was now 58,000 locked up. Put it on TV and everywhere you can. All you need to say is This is Not Who We Are.

Yet I must concur to a degree with Mike Diehl, there are many young people who have no Idea of certain cultural references and content must lean more current for them as well.
I had a personal experience with an intelligent educated well spoken young man 23yrs old who I am teaching photography to. We had gotten into a conversation about my former film/tv career and he had no idea of films and actors that for those 40 or so & older are common household names today.
With regard to Corrie Lapinsky's comment, I recall the words "Clean hands" in a recent written or spoken "The Warning" post. SAM must be blisteringly factual in showing the brutality, cruelty and inhumanity of what ICE is doing, or we risk our credibility.

They had an ice raid a couple weeks ago in the Reynolda Manor area (laundromat and Mexican restaurant) in Winston-Salem, NC. Dressed in the mask , vest and camo, carrying automatic long guns, just like his.
